Revolt the Decimation Season 1 was an outstanding Source mod not to mention the fact that the entire mod was designed and developed by only two people.
"Decimation 2.0" (which might go under another title) is soon to be released. It will be a stand alone game so having Half-Life 2 or another source game on your computer will not be necessary. The game will be completely free to download and play as long as your computer can meet it's requirements.

Best:
Extreme recoil makes for needed accuracy and new playing styles from the traditional Counter strike aiming and accuracy model. No random cone radius bullet spraying. Bullets go where your muzzle is pointed. All weapons can melee and fists are great fun!
Worst:
There are a few contriversial bugs, and the maps never were finished, nor did the game reach critical mass development wise, but it still is a superb mod.
Currently, Decimation is virtual dead (no servers host it), but Deci 2 is soon.
